There are three people directly involved in the TRUCKRIGHT Industry Vehicle.
Rod Hannifey
Is the manager/driver of the truck and has spent the last three years pushing to get this vehicle on the road towards the aims stated. He has travelled over 3 million kilometres in b-doubles, won the Australian Trucking Association National Professional Driver of the Year, the CFK National Safe Driver of the Year Memorial award, a Qld Road Safety award for the “Blue Reflector Marking of Informal Truck Rest Areas”, completed a Graduate Certificate in Road Safety, writes columns for Owner Driver trucking magazine and Caravan World magazine and has done much work on radio and in other forums towards improving road safety generally and for truckies specifically.
Ken Wilkie
Has provided the Kenworth prime mover for the TRUCKRIGHT Industry Vehicle and has been an independent owner operator driver for over 35 years. Ken was the first elected driver representative on the fledgling RTF (Road Transport Forum) the precursor to the current Australian Trucking Association and has written for Owner Driver magazine for over ten years.
Rod Pilon
Is the founder and owner of Rod Pilon Transport based in Dubbo in NSW and runs over 40 trucks and 90 trailers across most Australian states and in combinations from single semis, to b-doubles and triple roadtrains.
Rod Hannifey is an employed driver for Rod Pilon and Rod Pilon Transport are providing the b-double trailers and work, to see the TRUCKRIGHT Industry Vehicle operating on the road and across as much of Australia’s road network as is possible. Rod Pilon Transport operate transport depots and distribution services in Dubbo, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney carrying chemicals, machinery and general cargo across Australia.

- Attards produced all Rod Hannifey’s curtain design and wording and the trailer curtains at cost price.
